Key Skills required:

High degree of system literacy, Excel is required for financial reporting and development of the financial reporting processes
Liaise on all PAYE, VAT and final accounts audits
Confident and capable of reporting to strict deadlines
Preparation and processing of month end journals in conjunction with Senior Book keeper, including prepayment and accruals.

Qualifications:

at least 2 years accounting experience 
Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or qualified by experience

- Beyond economical repair, cannot be fixed due to e.g. water damage

Skills &amp;amp; Experience Required:

- Previous customer service experience within a contact centre environment essential
- A general interest in mobile phones
- Experience providing technical support within a similar environment

Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and fixing skills and desktop environmental experience (DFS/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy) etc are essential.

You should possess first class skills in Application Packaging and the use of Wise for Windows Installer, MSI, SMS Installer, SoftGrid etc and strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools, ideally VB script.  Highly advantageous is experience of with Windows 2000/2003 Servers, MS Terminal Server, Citrix MetaFrame Server, MS SMS, MS DFS, and MS SQL

- Liaising with Company Administrator, improve/update current documentation templates to better match current project needs  
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area and department.  
- Carry out all duties in accordance with HSE legislation and Company policy  
- Be familiar with Company policies and procedures and carry out duties accordingly  
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected by the line manager       
 
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:  
 
- ONC in Engineering Discipline  
- HNC/HND  
- 2 years experience in a similar role  
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001  
- Sound technical knowledge  
- Understanding of QA and document controls

You will be performing multi-drop work, delivering parcels, weighing up to 30kg, to households and businesses, often during peak hour traffic. Once you have received training and become established you will be visiting approximately 100 addresses each day. 
 
You must be able to work well under pressure, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of multi-drops would be an advantage.

This role will help develop policies, procedures and key controls around the centralised cash controllership and Customer substantiation functions in Glasgow.  The role involves:

 
* Review and update training materials for European Infrastructure groups, devise  
                   targeted training plan and timetable.
* Perform detailed analysis and reviews of large volumes of varying complexity cash 
                   &amp;amp; customer accounts; extract themes, issues and propose next steps. 
* Proactively monitor and report status and issues in accordance with the project plan 
                   and critical milestones.  
* Risk management and issue resolution to resolve project and production slippages 
                   to ensure deadlines are met.
* Identifying and implementing process changes to enhance efficiency. 
* Support the deployment of cash &amp;amp; customer account reconciliation and review.


EXPERIENCE &amp;amp; QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you must have a background in reconciliation and financial reporting gained in industry or practice.  The candidate must be competent in understanding and applying accounting skills, particularly around reconciliation and financial reporting.  Project management skills and initiating process improvements would also be advantageous.

With several high value commercial new build and refurbishment projects to boast of across Scotland, my client are continuing to tender for and win new work at an impressive rate.

They are part of the biggest construction company in the UK with an annual turnover of around £10billion in Scotland, alone. With over 2500 employees UK wide, they have an outstanding list of past, current and future projects to boast of. The division operates throughout the country covering a wide range of projects and serving both commercial and public sector clients. 

As Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Construction Director and have overall control of your own projects from inception through to completion.
The role will enable you to get involved in pre and post contract work - liaising with clients and sub-contractors alike, ensuring projects are delivered within time and budget.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an immensely successful contractor and have autonomy over your own teams and projects.

You will ideally have a good working knowledge of the Construction industry and have a proven track record in the successful delivery of commercial projects in excess of £30million in value. Ideally you will currently be working for a Main Contractor at a senior level.  This position would ideally suit an existing Senior Project Manager or Project Director who are looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious and exciting projects in Scotland, at this time.

You will predominantly be based in Edinburgh however you may be required to travel from time to time so flexibility in this area is a must.

In return, you will be given a highly competitive basic salary, a car or car allowance, private healthcare for you and your family, a project specific bonus, contributory pension scheme and working hours of 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2:30pm on a Friday.
