A permanent job for a contracts manager required by a contractor based in Fife. Immediate Start, Salary between £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience + company car + annual bonus.
Our client has been in business for over 20 years and has a healthy portfolio of work with clients including local authorities, the NHS trust, contractors from the major contractors group such as Miller Construction and Sir Robert McAlpine as well private individuals. The reason forthis vacancy is the retirement of the existing contracts manager.
Renowned for being specialists in the demolition and civil field their project values range from a £500 asbestos removal to a £1.4 million demolition working for a major contractor. So no two jobs are ever the same.
You will be asked to look after 3/4 jobs at anyone time with each job having a general foreman and direct labour on site, you will report directly into the senior contracts manager and be required to travel between the sites therefore time management and communication are key attributes.
As well as the above you will ideally either have a professional or academic qualification in construction and have contracting experience, although not essential prior experience in either the civil or demolition field would advantageous.
Our client will provide any additional qualifications required to be on site and will offer full supportas well as competitive salary of between £30-£40,000 per annum + company car, pension scheme and annual bonuses dependent on performance.
