Role description:
This is a senior role which will see you supporting the business and its extensive operations. It is a commercially focussed position with fantastic scope for development in the future.
Specifically you will be involved in the following:
• Providing Financial and Commercial Support to the business
• Managing finance relationship with the operations, promoting financial and commercial awareness
• Supporting the division to achieve organisational objectives
• Ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting and control framework ensuring compliance with all group policies
• Communication of operational information from the operations to finance shared services team and supporting the interface between them.
• Facilitating the preparation of the asset forecast / budget ensuring business input, review and action
• Delivering monthly financial reporting
• Preparation of cashflow projections
• Preparation, review and action of cost control reporting
• Preparation and monitoring afe's and co-ordination of capital utilisation review
• Review and application of appropriate financial controls
• Review of UK and overseas tax compliance and planning
• Ad hoc project and systems improvement work

Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional who is driven and motivated to grow their career. You will have staff leadership skills and be able to deal with both finance and operations effectively. Most importantly, you will be a team player with a committed attitude and a focus on process efficiencies.
This is a role which would suit a variety of candidates - you will either be trained in the profession and have some industry experience, or have a solely industry based back ground. Candidates coming straight from the profession will also be considered.
