Job - (Heavy) Plant Hire Sales Representative
Location - Scotland
Salary - £25k + bonus
Company
My client have a fleet of over 1000 machines and depots across the country, specialising in supplying contract rental and sale of heavy plant into the rail, industrial, extraction and construction industries. They also offer a range of ancillary services such as providing technical support and training.
ROLE
Your role will be to maintain and develop business across Scotland through various markets including rail, construction and industry. You will work closely with other departments to ensure a serviceable pipeline of business opportunities is developed and maintained in line with profitability targets. You will also play a key part in service delivery regarding H&S, productivity improvement and regulatory issues.
Experience
The successful candidate will preferably possess experience of selling heavy plant, however potential candidates who can demonstrate knowledge and expertise of selling into the civil engineering or rail industries would be considered. You should be able to demonstrate a stable track record of success within a construction sales role with respect to a heavy construction or civils environment.
