RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - TECHNICAL + ENGINEERING

Based in Aberdeen, our client focus naturally lies with the UK and International Oil & Gas Industry. We source commercial opportunities both at home and abroad whilst sourcing industry professionals from Aberdeen, Calgary, Houston, the Middle-East and beyond.
THE ROLE:
The company has grown rapidly since its formation in 2004 and currently employs 18 people at its new headquarters in Golden Square. To support this, and further anticipated growth during the companies international expansion, an opportunity exists for a Recruitment Consultant within our Technical & Engineering Division.
The division provides highly consultative Human Capital resourcing solutions to a global client base of Operators and Oil Service companies.
Key tasks include:
The management of recruitment projects on behalf of clients - Taking the project from the initial enquiry stage through to completion, whilst providing a high level of service to clients and candidate throughout.
A key facet to the role will be Business Development. This will involve establishing, building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients/candidate - targets alike.
The ideal applicant:
Will be someone who is committed to a career in recruitment and who has preferably worked in an agency environment.
Should have some experience of recruiting engineering disciplines.
A good demonstrable understanding of the current recruitment market, particularly with an Oil and Gas bias.
Well developed interpersonal skills and customer focus with a highly professional approach.
A conscientious and reliable individual with a high level of aptitude.
Ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
