My client is a well known legal firm based in Glasgow city centre. They have an urgent requirement for a Facilities Assistant to join their busy team.
Duties for this role will include managing incoming and outgoing mail, logging and distributing faxes, photocopying, binding and general filing and archiving of documents. You will also be required to provide servicing for meeting and the general office This will involve arranging IT equipment, catering and general office stock such as paper and toner.
In addition to this role you will be required to cover the reception area. Here you will be repsonsible for handling calls and greeting visitors as well as taking incoming deliveries and organising outgoing couriers. Management of the meeting room diary and parking spaces will also be dealt with by reception.
The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience, preferrable within a facilities role. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with people at all levels. You should be able to work well in a team as well as on your own initiative and work well under pressure. Good PC skills and attention to detail are also essential. A degree of flexibility on the hours of work is crucial.
