Our clientprovides a professional and competitive service in all aspects of offshore crane and lifting operations.They provide specialist services in the operation and maintenance of cranes and associated lifting equipment, design services with relation to lifting and associated equipment, and inspection services.
Due to internal promotion they are currently looking to recruita Workshop Foreman to take care of the day to day activities in a small but busy heavy mechanical workshop. You will be required to manage a team of 4-6 people (including apprentices).
Main duties include but are not limited to, supervising staff to ensure the smooth running of all service activities, job costing of workshop jobs accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring statutory compliance with LOLER, HSE etc and identify potential cost savings.

You will ideally be from a mechanical background with sufficient supervisory experience.
A knowledge of the Lifting Operations Equipment Regulations and all legislation concerning lifting operations along with the experience in using both fixed and portable lifting equipment is essential.
An indepth knowledge of workshop practices is also anecessary requirement.
