Full Description:

An immediate requirement has arisen for a freelance mechanical and electrical coordinator working on a long-term contract in The Scottish Borders. Based on a large site at one of the local High School buildings you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical coordination, attending design meetings, client progress meetings, supervising installations and liaising with sub contractors.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have experience of on site coordination, a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Should you be successful you will be working for one of the biggest building contractors in the UK that specialises in construction, currently working on projects such as a £5.46m contract for the construction of 54 housing association flats, a £2.73m contact for 12 Industrial Units and have recently completed a £11.5m Retail and Commercial Park in Windermere.
