- Here is an exciting opportunity for a Safety Engineer to work for a company with international presence in the Oil & Gas business.
Being appointed as a Safety Engineer, you will be asked to report to the Head of Consultancy Services.
JOB ROLE:
Appraisal of Fire and Safety Engineering design for new construction.
Participate in the HAZID/HAZOP studies
Carry out various safety studies and asked to participate in various QRA activities
Participate in assuring legislative compliance on behalf of clients (Safety Case and supporting Regulations, DCR, PFEER, and Pipelines Safety Regulations
Carry out HS&E, Compliance and Safety Management System Audits and also be part of the Risk Management activities.
Supervision of Asst. Engineers and also various Technical Assistants.
REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must possess a qualified degree in a relevant field of studies.
Preferably be a Chartered Fire and Safety Engineer with a proven track record in this discipline
Experience in the Oil and Gas Sector will be an added advantage as large part of the work will be dependant on this experience
The applicant must possess excellent communication skills and be a good at technical writing.
