There has risen an exciting opportunity for a Rig Safety Officer to work for a pioneer company in the Drilling sector. They are a world leading drilling contracting company with its work prevalence in the North Sear, Gulf of Mexico, South East Asia, Mediterranean, Australia etc
The Rig Safety Officer will be responsible to assist and monitor implementation of the safety management system and to offer advice to the rig management and crew. He/She will also be required to support OIM in Safety committee meetings as requested. The role also demands participation in all accident, incident investigations and to carry our daily safety STOP audits. Monitoring of COSHH procedures and promoting the need to adopt safe working practices at all times will be the key responsibility of this role.
The applicant must posses NEBOSH. He/She must be a go getter and must posses an eye for detail as he will be working in the safety environment.
