    A project manager is required to work in a senior role, to be responsible for seeing through single or multiple projects from inception to completion. As a project manager you will be expected to lead, motivate and inspire the project team to successfully deliver projects within the pre-determined criteria of time, cost and specification. The successful candidate will also be required to oversee the project with regard to health and safety, quality and environmental performance.

    As a project manager you will liaise regularly with the senior project manager and will be the single point of accountability for project objectives across a range of criteria:

    - Will work in conjunction with the senior project manager to set and agree a time-line for the project and to deliver the project within this time.
    - Ensuring process compliance in relation to governance, health and safety, quality environmental legislation and to ensure targets are met.
    - Accountable for LBE on projects.
    - Management of risk and reputational issues.
    - Discharging of CDM regulations including management of clients, designers and planning supervisors.
    - Development of staff working on project through good leadership.
    - Completion of resource plans to ensure correct quality to meet objectives.
    - Ensuring suitable inclusion of key stakeholders at appropriate stages of the project.
    - Update the senior project manager at relevant stages. In order to carry out this role as a project manager, it is important that the successful candidate posses a number of skills, qualifications and experiences including:

    - Educated to degree or HND level, preferably in an appropriate engineering discipline.
    - Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business requirements
    - Proven track record in successful delivery of complex, high value projects.
    - Working knowledge of requirements to deliver major design and construction projects. This role represents an excellent opportunity to work with a major engineering consultancy on projects within the water industry.
