| Description Our client is a well renowned consultancy providing advice to clients in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry. Based at their offices in Aberdeen their solve problems and make investment recommendations for a wide range of clients. These include international oil companies, small independents, service companies and upstream investors. The business is organised into a number of business areas; production technology, reservoir studies, A&D valuation, reserves audit, business consultancy, asset value and training. Within these areas they treat each assignment as a discrete project. Objectives are agreed, in collaboration, with the client to formulate the appropriate workflow and team composition. This means for any team leader within the organisation, there is a strong emphasis on client interaction with responsibility for the management of the delivery of the project for the client they are dealing with. Role With this in mind, in conjunction with continued expansion of the opportunities for our client in reservoirs, they have a requirement for a Senior Reservoir Engineer. This opportunity is designed as a team leader role reporting directly to the MD of the business taking on and expanding business with a number of key clients. Responsible for the management of a small team and the delivery of projects for a small number of key clients duties include: Job Description - Acting as client interface for clients under your remit - QC on all project work to be delivered to your clients - Carryout reservoir studies with support from a small team - Answering queries on technical problems from clients - Carrying out either field evaluation or exploration related projects Person Specification Our clients people are generally individuals who would like to move from a constrained corporate environment to role where they are given the freedom to express their ideas and develop and nurture client relationships. The person will have: Strong reservoir simulation experience using any industry standard software Could have worked in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Production Technology Some exposure to working for an operator an advantage Experience in field development planning Use of analytical tools to carry out projects Benefits £ 60 - 80k Generous bonus that can potentially double your gross salary Potential future pension Healthcare 25 days holiday + stats 40 hours flexible working Subsidised share scheme |
