| The Procurement Transformation Programme has provided the platform to create a Procurement Centre of Excellence and a number of changes are already underway including a new organisational structure. Our focus is on adding value to the Standard Life Group, not simply reducing costs. The new processes that we are putting in place will have a significant focus on mitigating and managing risks as well as ensuring that products and services meet the needs of the business and provide flexibility where possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and committed individual to join Group Procurement to provide the Group-wide focus and coordination for the strategic management of nominated key suppliers and to manage the contracts in accordance with the approved specification. Reporting to the Business Research, Development & Analysis Manager your remit will include implementing and supporting the Supplier Relationship and and Contract Management programme across the Group.
