| Our client one of the world’s largest retail banks is looking for a Sales Advisor to join their award winning branch. Most of your week will be spent performing Customer Reviews, where you will be ensuring that customers are making the most of the products and services available to them. By listening to their needs carefully and offering the best advice for their individual circumstances, you will be able to help them save or even make money. For more complex financial packages, you may be referring them to a specialist colleague. You will be required to keep your product knowledge up to date and work as member of the team. You will be motivating staff and promoting best practice to maximise sales success and improve customer service. You will also work closely with the Branch Manager to help develop your Branch profile in the local community. Customer service experience is vital to this role. As well as being an effective communicator and team player, you will also need to have good planning and organisational skills to ensure you get the most out of each customer appointment. Ideally, you will be from a face-to-face sales role but call centre work selling financial products would also be helpful. Candidates with experience in selling financial products are preferred but candidates with experience working in a face to face sales role would also be considered. You will be used to getting to know a customer's needs and working in a targeted environment to earn commission.
