| Our client, a highly successful and reputable international business, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team in Renfrewshire. If successful, you will be responsible for managing the accounting function for a number of different contracts and clients. With support from the Client Managers you will complete month end accounts to balance sheet. To be considered for this role you will have a previous experience in an accounting role, will be studying for a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA and will have excellent Excel skills. Key responsibilities will include: Responsibility for own contracts/clients Managing and reconciling client bank accounts Checking twice monthly purchase ledger batches to authorise correct payment Checking and preparing journals Monthly client reporting on costs and cashflow Budgets and variance analysis Estimating upcoming running costs This is an excellent opportunity to further your career with an employer who offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
