THE ROLE
First People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Security Technical Support Analyst for our Financial Services Client based in the South Side of Glasgow. The role will involve providing first class technical support for the organization with a focus on administering Firewall and Security Systems. You will also be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of routers and switches as well configuration of LAN, WAN and Avaya Telephone Systems. The successful candidate will be accountable for ICT infrastructure technical issues including the resolution of escalated incidents as 3rd line support.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Proven track record in a similar technical support role
HNC/HND qualified
Experience working on both Unix and Microsoft platforms
Working knowledge of networks (LAN and WAN)
Avaya
DESIRED SKILLS
Degree educated
CCENT or equivalent
Working towards CCNA
