| UNIX, SOLARIS, HIGH END SERVERS, HP-UX, AIX, VERITAS, EDINBURGH Are you a Solaris Certified Systems Administrator? Do you have experience working in a Mission Critical highly pressured Investment Bank environment? Do you have a broad range of experience supporting mid-range (T2000) to high-end (F15k/E25K) servers? If so then I would very much like to speak with you! My client a globally recognised Investment Bank based in Edinburgh is looking for the crme de la crme of Solaris Systems Administrators. Suitable Unix Solaris Systems Administrator will join a team whose overall purpose and goals are to ensure availability of the UNIX estate in production. The UNIX estate currently encompasses 3 flavours (Solaris, HP-UX and AIX). This role exists to provide both reactive and proactive support of the Sun platform within the UNIX estate by dealing with incidents in the incident queue in particular those with a high criticality, attending recoveries to represent my client that are impacting service and addressing currency including the Sun proactive tools on the estate. The successful candidate will be Solaris Certified and have a minimum of 5 years experience supporting mid range to high end Sun Servers. A summary of skills required / experience are as follows Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Jet / Jumpstart, Zones, Shell / Perl Scripting, Veritas Foundation and Cluster, Opsware, Sun Server experience from T2000 - E25ks.
