| The Place Our client is a major player in the supermarket / convenience store / food retail sector within the UK. They have a portfolio of over 1100 stores in 3 distinctive formats nationally; they pride themselves in providing first class quality produce, exceptional customer service and have a real local community driven retail ethos. This role for an Assistant Manager is based in their high volume Dundee store The Job As Assistant Manager your role will be to manage a team to drive sales and maintain store standards within a fast paced environment. You will strive to achieve sales, availability and wastages targets while developing, coaching and motivating a team of Supervisors and Assistants to deliver a service that sets you apart from the competition. The Person Successful candidates for this role will have had previous retail management experience at Department / Team Leader / Supervisor or Assistant Manager level and have experience working in high turnover fast paced retail environments within either high street or food retailing. To succeed in this role you will need to have the drive and desire to build a career in a forward thinking, modern business.
