An opportunity for a Landscape Architect to join my Dundee City Centre Based Public Body client on a rolling freelance contract.

Reporting tothe Senior Landscape Architect you will be Assisting in the control, monitoring, prioritisation and timeous completion of all environmental development or strategic initiatives assigned. With particular involvement in the delivery of landscape design services related to landscape management and development plans, conservation, environmental improvements or outdoor play or leisure projects.

The Landscape Design Team provides a leading role in the delivery of a wide range of hard and soft environmental construction projects across the city. Workload includes input into master plans for Camperdown Park, Caird Park and new cemeteries, delivery of play space initiatives, biodiversity and nature conservation improvements, youth and community projects and access initiatives. The team played a key role in the award-winning Castle Green Play Area and Baxter Park regeneration project.

You will have relevant experience in landscape design or a proven ability to undertake duties along with contract management experience. you will also ideally have good communication skills and confidence in dealing with colleagues/clients partnered with a flair for design and fully conversant in Autocad.

Initially for 12 weeks with a view to being extendedon a rolling contract, this contractoffers an excellent hourly rate, Immediate start, flexible working hours and the opportunity to work on a variety of large local projects.
