| Building Surveyor required for this Invernesshire based consultancy. My client are one of the largest, global, fully integrated engineering, construction and technical services firms focusing on the global market. The Building Surveyor will be required to: - Assist and advise on all aspects of building and civil engineering - inspect and report on the condition of buildings and infrastructure in a programmed sequence of surveys based on target condition monitoring. - provide advice on structural defects identified during surveys or reported by the building user. - provide advice on future maintenance requirements. - review the structural integrity of specialist storage buildings and report on the performance of the structure and building fabric. - organise and manage supplier inspection tasks, monitor their site activities and safety elements and assist with invoice checking etc. - assist in co-ordinating planning applications. - assist with the compilation of option appraisals, design briefs, statements of need and budget cost estimates. - carry out inspection / monitoring of asbestos contained materials and reporting on condition with remedial work recommendations and associated costs. In return you will receive a competitive basic salary of up to £26,000, however there may be room for negotiation on this for the right candidate. |
