Our client is Edinburgh based and a market leader in their field.
We are seeking an experienced C++ Developer with at least 4 years commercial experience with C++ and embedded programming.
Excellent knowledge of modern software engineering practices – OOD, Design Patterns, Agile methods and Extreme programming. Experience of designing and delivering business critical, embedded applications for devices with a GUI touch screen running Windows CE; these applications are developed and also run on a PC. Ability to communicate specifications and designs to other team members, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem solving skills. Meticulous, detailed approach to specification, design and implementation.
Appreciation of Project Planning principles including estimating. Ability to work to fixed deadlines.
