A PROJECT MANAGER is required to work on various civil engineering projects in Glasgow. Benefits include a car, free fuel tank located at head office in Glasgow, contributory pension scheme, BUPA healthcare, 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and fantastic social activities every month!
A project manager is needed for my clients Building and Civil Engineering division. You could be managing a variety of different projects. Which project you work on will depend on your interest, and what you would be best at. There are a number of projects you could get involved in; it could be a golf course, remediation project, hospital, retail development, drainage work, bus garage, medical centre, factory or office blocks. Project value will range from £600K to £6M. All projects are around 1 hour travelling distance from the head office, so you will always be working local.
You will be working for a company that promotes from within its own organisation. They will seek to fill vacancies internally first, meaning better chances of career progression for you. The Company has many divisions that you can expand into, from Building, Civil Engineering, Drainage, Petrochemical Civils, Surfacing, and Major Projects Division. Majority of their work is from repeat clients, such as hospitals, prisons, local council, airports and retail clients.
To be considered for this vacancy you will a good track record in project or contract management, with experience in either civil or building projects. Experience in both would be an advantage.
