IT Systems Administrator/Support
Job Profile
This is IT Systems Administrator/Support position and you will be responsible to provide front-line support service for internal end users of the companys IT Systems. You will ensure that all network issues and support calls are accurately logged prioritized and comply with the SLA. You will act as the first line of consultation providing both hardware and software support, provide technical resolution direct to the end user or if the problem requires further assistance, escalate the problem with the relevant 3rd party support provision. Additionally the successful candidate will be in charge of administration and support of the companys Exchange 2003 and Citrix Presentation server environments.
Company Information - My client are a leading shop fitter in the UK. They have a proven track record in roll out of national programmes, to local fit-out and refurbishment projects across an array of industry sectors including retail, financial, public authority and commercial.
Experience & Qualifications -
The candidate should have experience in the following:
Administration of Exchange 2003 & Citrix presentation server environments.
Carrying out key administrative duties such as system backing up, routine hardware maintenance, and the provision of new users to the system.
Conducting staff training, when required
Delivery of the solution direct to the end-user operating from both satellite offices and on-site.
Interpreting end-users queries, dealing with 3rd party support, offering accurate and precise solutions to the end users in accordance with Helpdesk procedures and service priorities.
Physically carrying out IT maintenance of both hardware and software including remote users.
IT technical support queries and issues associated with Exchange and Citrix.
Liaison with end-users and 3rd party support maintaining a professional manner at all times. Support calls referral and management to third party support.
* A CCNA and or MCP certification would be a definite advantage.

Salary: Upto £25,000/year
