| The Place Our client is one of Scotland’s leading, contemporary, 4 star hotel groups. This is an exciting time for the company with acquisitions and redevelopment and therefore one of their properties is looking for a Deputy General Manager. The Job They are seeking an individual with passion, drive and enthusiasm to fulfil the role of Deputy General Manager. The successful candidate will support and assist in the running of the hotel along with being part of the Senior Management Team. You will effectively manage the hotel and the team and contribute to the success of the hotel by ensuring that the highest standards of product and service are maintained and delivered at all times whilst maximising profitability in line with budget. You will have a key role in maintaining communication through out the hotel and in driving the business forward by contributing ideas (innovation is regarded very highly). The role encompasses the responsibility to manage the performance of Departmental Managers through business planning and objective setting as part of the performance management cycle. The Person They are looking for someone who has a proven track record and strong management and organisational skills gained in a 4 or 5 star hotel. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes both operational experience in Food and Beverage and Rooms management. An ambassador for the business with a passion for customer care, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the there is an all round better service culture demonstrated in all aspects of the business on a daily basis. You will be proactive and show initiative and also demonstrate sound leadership ability and financial awareness. The Rewards In return we will reward you with a competitive salary in the region of £30,000 - £40,000 and a chance to make your name for yourself at the same time as the hotel continues to make theirs!
