| A social housingorganisation based in Perthshire urgently requires a Housing Assistant to join their team on a temporary contract that has a strong possibility of going permanent for the right candidate. You will be part of a team of staff functioning as the principal point of contact in receiving, and providing high quality advice, ona range ofhousing management and repairsissues.Youwill also provide all administration support to the Housing staff delivering these services. Main duties will include: - Providing a friendly and informative reception and telephone answering service tocurrent and prospective tenants - Providing advice, assistance and information on all housing management services - Collecting rent and other payments made at the office and recording as appropriate. - Assisting in the checking of housing benefit notifications and the provision of advice to residents on the rent due. - Providing high quality secretarial, administration and word processing services to the Housing Services Team - Assisting in the maintenance of the housing waiting lists. - The regular monitoring and control of rent arrears, other tenancy related debts and credit balances - Dealing with repair requests in line with policies and procedures For more information and/or a confidential discussion, please do not hesitate to contact me. |
