Job profile - This is an Employment Lawyer vacancy within a forward thinking, progressive international law firm, placed in the top 15 of UK law firms. As an Employment Lawyer, with 5 years + PQE, you will join one of the best and most experienced employment teams in the UK. You will provide practical, speedy and tailored commercial advice to clients, developing long term relationships with many household name companies.
Company Information - Ranked as one of the top 15 legal firms within the UK, my client offers an excellent opportunity for prospective employees. They have a large team of over 50 employment lawyers.
Experience & Qualifications - You will have gained experience in a City firm, or large regional practice, with a breadth of experience of dealing with both contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including the following areas: Projects; PPP/PFI; Equal Pay; Corporate support; HR support; Discipline & Grievance; Discrimination; TUPE; Collective Labour Law and a range of contractual matters. Candidates will have had exposure to dealing with cases within a number of different sectors ideally with a focus on construction.
Candidates must be commercially aware and have an excellent track record in business development. You will be expected to take the lead in providing support to more junior lawyers within the team to develop their skill sets and broaden experience overall for the team in Scotland, so previous experience in this area is required. You will also be a team player with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
Location: Based in Glasgow City Centre, this firm is easily accessed by multiple motorway routes, bus routes and train stations.
