| A Roads Design Engineer is sought in Dundee. Our client is a consulting and business services group that provides many of the design, managerial and engineering services that support modern society. Currently employing over 11,000 staff the consultancy are keen on developing the careers of all of their employees whilst continually giving support and guidance throughout your time with the company. Based from their Dundee office, our client is looking to employ a Roads Engineer who will act as a key member of the design team, helping to ensure that projects are delivered within timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client. Responsible for undertaking road scheme assessment and design as well as supervising construction projects and contributing to the preparation of tender documents, You will be a recently or nearly chartered Engineer, or be an incorporated Engineer with relevant experience. Knowledge of road design standards, specifications and contract conditions is essential, as is experience in producing feasibility and detailed design. You will have experience in contract supervision and report writing and have basic AutoCAD skills. As well as the chance to work for a well-respected consultancy that helps to progress your career, they are looking to pay an excellent salary of £26,000 - £32,000.
