Oracle Database Administrator - Part Time - 13-20 hours per week
Location: Lanarkshire
Salary: Pro rata £21k - £28k
Benefits Package: Pension, generous holidays

The hours are flexible to suit made up between 13-20 hours based on your preference
THE ROLE
Oracle Database Administration (version 10 and above)
SQL 2000 Database Administration
Tuning and configuration of above platforms
Client / server application configuration
Installation and support
2nd line application support
Managing Oracle and SQL database platforms in a commercial environment
SQL language scriptwriting Supporting a large user base (i.e. > 500 users)
IIS Support
EXPERIENCE
As detailed above, minimum of one years experience which does not need to be current.
This role is ideal for a Masters/Phd student who has some previous work experience as an Oracle DBA.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is not suitable for those with no work experience as an Oracle DBA
