    Building Clerk of Works Urgently required for East Lothian.

    We are coming up to the school summer holiday period, when our client carries out alterations to East Lothian schools from 27/06/2008 to 14/08/2008.

    They are currently seeking two building clerks of works - ideally one to start in mid-June and the other at the end of June. You will be required until the end of August.

    In this role you will be working under the Chief Clerk of Works for the area and will be based primarily on site. You will be working on various sites throughout East Lothian alongside the appointed contractors. You will be working on minor works throughout the buildings including alterations, windows and snagging. It is essential that the work is completed by the end of August in time for the new school year beginning.

    You will have recent experience of practice as a clerk of works, be familiar with UK building regulations and ideally will be a member of the Institute of Clerks of Works.
