| Associate/Senior Associate Level Architect, Salary From £40,000 per annum plus excellent package, Travel Opportunities The worlds leading science and technology specialists seek an ambitious and highly independent individual to act as project specialist and practice representative in Edinburgh. You would be providing regional architectural leadership for the construction phase of a major (£50m) iconic, scientific research building in Edinburgh. This is an opportunity to work with a Global practice drawing on the practices worldwide experience and capability. You will receive an exceptional salary from £40,000 pa to £55,000 pa dependant on your experience, pension plan after 3 months (5% employer contribution), life assurance (3x annual salary), private medical plan, global travel insurance, annual leave of 20 days per annum (with an additional 1 day per year up to a max of 25 days), all UK public holidays, an annual performance based compensation scheme. Annual salary reviews and incentive plan results are determined at the end of each calendar year. The Role: -Fronting the project to the Client, Project Manager and Contractor dealing with all technical and contract administration queries to ensure smooth-running of the project -It will include liaising with the current production teams in London and Princeton and all the relevant statutory authorities in Edinburgh/Mid-Lothian to ensure timely delivery of all information -This role will also involve facilitating the support of other projects that the practice has in the region of Edinburgh and for marketing other opportunities in Scotland. -The Scottish presence (in Edinburgh) will evolve in relation to the success of the project above and the revenue generated by new project wins to be able to support new staff and project teams. The role will grow into a wider management role as our presence becomes established and proven -Working within the practice network will enable cross working with all of the offices to provide the necessary global support for all stages of all the practices projects and the utilisation of cutting edge technology to facilitate this.
