| Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy, their work is to improve the built and natural environment from advising on renewable energy solutions to cleaning up contaminated land. An opportunity for an experienced M&E Surveyor to join the team in our Glasgow office. Ideally your professional experience will have included the survey of building services, feasibility studies, cost estimates and general professional advice. Previous experience in the field of Energy would be desirable. Ideally you will be studying towards becoming a member of CIBSE or other relevant building services organisation such as IEE or IMECHE. It is essential that you have full UK Driving License. Job Description : Working within their Glasgow office as a M&E Surveyor, the ideal candidate for this postion will assist in building and developing an M&E Surveying team in Scotland, but will also undertake the following: . Site surveys and conditions surveys; . Preparation of feasibility studies and cost estimates; . Carry out design reviews; and . Develop URS's capability in the areas of energy performance and building sustainability. It is expected that this position will involve a significant amount of travel, both in the UK and abroad. |
