    Our client is a market leader in the Waste Management Industry. They are seeking a Environmental Compliance Manager that will be responsible for a wide variety of waste related projects ranging form waste collection, recycling and disposal. To develop and lead implementation of strategies which shape future business delivery and provide the best possible service and information to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with legislation within the Directorates responsibilities.

    The roles KPIs will be - Risk Management, Permitting, Efficiency Measures, Compliance Audits and Customer Satisfaction.

    Key tasks will include day to day management of the landfill and various facilities, management of environmental team, setting targets, goals, objectives. Ensuring environmental compliance throughout the organisation. Develop and manage annual business plans identifying key activities, priorities and risks. Build relationships with key stakeholders in line with future strategies. Liaise with clients, the general public and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with the relevant national and international legislation. Obtaining and managing PPC permits for integrated waste facilities.

    Key Skills will include a diploma/degree in science engineering or relevant experience in geology, hydrogeology or waste engineering, Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board - Level 4 completion required. Landfill experience and up to date knowledge of appropriate legislation is desirable. Accomplished in data manipulation, analysis and interpretation. Relationship management and interpersonal skills. Communication, influencing and negotiating skills. Strategy development and Implementation. Project management. Entrepreneurial, flexible and pragmatic attitude. Research and Report writing skills. Problem solving and decision making. PC literate with PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills

    Other Duties include Specialist projects as agreed with the CEO to support the business requirements of the organisation. In addition, the Environmental Compliance Manager will be prepared to carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the CEO.
