| Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Aberdeen - £40,000 - £45,000 (dep. on exp.) plus benefits. Job Title - Senior Quantity Surveyor Location - Aberdeen One of the largest, privately owned construction, development and services groups in Scotland, and the North East of England. The Construction division has a requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to run up and coming high profile projects in Aberdeen. The Role: You will be involved in preparation of cost plans, negotiations with clients and input on the design development and value engineering of the various projects. In particular: -Pre-Contract Co-ordination and planning -Advising on tendering and contractual arrangements taking into account the Clients priorities and information available from designers -Preparation of tender and Contract documentation in conjunction with the Client and members of the design team. -Liaison with Client and other Consultants to determine Clients requirements and establish order of priorities for quality, time and cost -Providing advice on feasibility of procurement options. -Preparation of initial budget from feasibility proposals. -Preparing overall project cost calculation and cash flow projections. -Preparation and development of preliminary cost plan. -Monitoring of the cost implications during design stage. You: You will be at a similar level with a main contractor or feel that you are ready for the move to senior surveyor. You will have had experience working on commercial and industrial projects. In return you will receive a competitive salary up to £45,000 depending on experience as well as a company car or allowance, contributory pension, healthcare (depending on grade) and project bonuses. |
