| Business Development DirectorAberdeen To £65000 (dependant upon experience) THE COMPANY With a reputation for delivering outstanding customer service and a structure to provide unique and innovative Corporate banking solutions, a highly desirable and rewarding opportunity exists for a experienced corporate banking professional with our highly respected clients in Aberdeen. The position will provide the successful candidate with excellent autonomy and scope to Business Develop within the North of Scotland Business community whilst providing themselves with excellent reward package and unlimited career progression. THE ROLE The role involves networking extensively within the professional community throughout the North of Scotland focusing on organisations that turnover between £1-25 million with lending requirements of 0.5m and above. You will increase market share through proactive Business development activities. Managing the quality of the banks lending portfolio in UK by way of approval, overview and control, accepting full responsibility for lending decisions made within individual and joint delegated commitment; ensuring that the risks of lending proposals submitted are properly identified, assessed mitigated, structured and priced appropriately and completing of credit decision responsibilities within the requirements of agreed service level agreements will also be required. You will be part of the North of Scotland Business Development team tasked with implementing new ideas and procedures to enable the organisation to gain competitive advantage and increased market share. THE EXPERIENCE The Successful candidate must possess a sound understanding of business and commercial environment, previous experience in Corporate Banking including with a proven track record of key role involvement in completion of a range of Banking transactions and have appropriate professional qualifications, e.g Chartered Accountant, chartered banker or similar. You will a highly motivated individual with excellent communications skills with a passion for delivering excellent results within a Banking environment. A strong contact base with the key professionals within the North of Scotland professional community is required.
