Our is a leading Multi-disciplinary consultancy. The company street lighting team are currently looking for a Senior Engineer. In Scotland our client has a team of 170 operating from our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

The company's Civils team in Scotland provides leading services in

Highway Engineering Design and Supervision
Intelligent Transport and Traffic Management Technology
Highway Structures Design, Supervision and Maintenance
Highway Lighting

Job

You will have the opportunity in your career to be involved in the following;

Act as coach and mentor to junior technical staff.
Act as project manager for their own projects communicating, presenting and
managing positive relationships.
Deliver projects to programme and budget.
Manage workload and resources proactively to ensure resources are fully
utilised.
Manage and report on project delivery through presentations and reports.
Grow the team's strength through supporting development of individuals and
assisting in recruitment.
A member of the Institute of Lighting Engineers or equivalent is preferable.
Knowledge in Design of Highways related projects including in particular;

Feasibility Studies
Preliminary and Detailed Design
Lighting Maintenance and Management
Proven knowledge of Design Manual and Manual of Contract
Documents for Highways.
Proven knowledge of regulations and electrical supply arrangements.
