Immediate Vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor or a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Our client have been appointed as an Approved Delivery Partner by Scottish Water to assist in the delivery of its Capital Investment Programme through NEC3 Framework Agreements. The commercial structure within the framework team has an immediate vacancy a Quantity Surveyor and the position will be based in Loanhead, involving working as part of the commercial team reporting to the Project Commercial Manager. The role will pre-dominantly involve the procurement and management of sub-contractors from tender enquiry to final account stage, cost value comparisons, measurement, valuations, preparation and evaluation of compensation events, preparation and monitoring of target costs. You should ideally come from a traditional main contracting background and have surveying skills from a civils or building background. Experience of NEC conditions of contract and the Water Industry would be advantageous.
