Full Description:
Hays Energy are looking for ex naval personal with nuclear experience and this role is ideally suited for ex submariners with nuclear reactor experience.

Further details incllude:
1. Initiating, drafting and writing prescriptive documentation (Nuclear Procedures) for all work, inspections and tests carried out on submarine reactor plant and/or associated supporting systems including containment.
2. Interpreting the requirements of Ship Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs), Atomic Books (ABs) and other RPSJ documentation.
3. Extracting information from Books of Reference (BRs) and rewriting as Nuclear Procedures in a manner that can be easily understood.
4. Production of the Nuclear Logic for sequencing control of nuclear work and liaison with the maintenance period planners to ensure compatibility between the logic and maintenance plan.
5. Liaison with Submarine Engineers to discuss the requirements for nuclear documentation.
6. Provide support at Procedure Authorisation Group (PAG) meetings as secretary to record decisions and agreed procedural changes.
7.Responsible for dealing with all classes of submarine and processing documentation on several submarines in maintenance at the same time, including planning for future submarine maintenance periods.

Education & Qualifications
Essential
1.Good understanding of the operation, maintenance and repair of the submarine Nuclear Reactor Plant.
2. Previous experience as a qualified Category A2 or Category B Watchkeeper.
or
3.NWSC and appropriate experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of submarine nuclear plant.
4. An HNC/ONC/BTEC or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject.
