THE ROLE Financial Controller
Location: Glasgow
Salary:£35k - £40k + Benefits


Reporting to the Group Financial Director, the Financial Controller will have day to day responsibility for the running of the finance team. With responsibility for a substantial payroll function, credit control, sales ledger and purchase ledger, you will have previous staff management experience, gained in either commerce or practice.

The company has expanded quickly in the last few years and continues to look at prospective acquisitions. It has its accounts function in Glasgow but has a number of offices around the UK. As well as the production of the monthly accounts, the Chief Accountant will be the main point of contact with the external auditors and be primarily responsible for the production of the year end stat accounts.


The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant and could be making their first move from a firm of accountants. Equally, the role will suit someone looking to join an expanding company where you genuinely feel a part of the business and where your input matters.
