THE COMPANY

The position will provide the successful candidate with excellent autonomy and scope to shape the future strategy within this organisation in the North of Scotland whilst providing them with unlimited career progression.
THE ROLE
The role involves managing a highly successful team of Banking professionals, who are currently one of the top performers within the region. You will shape the current and future strategy within the team and the organisation throughout the North of Scotland. Managing the quality of the banks lending portfolio in UK by way of approval, overview and control, accepting full responsibility for lending decisions made within individual and joint delegated commitment; ensuring that the risks of lending proposals submitted are properly identified, assessed mitigated, structured and priced appropriately and completing of credit decision responsibilities within the requirements of agreed service level agreements will also be required. You will be part of the Scottish Senior Management tasked with implementing new ideas and procedures to enable the organisation to gain competitive advantage and increased market share.
THE EXPERIENCE
The Successful candidate must possess a sound understanding of business and commercial environment, previous experience in Corporate Banking including with a proven track record of key role involvement in completion of a range of Banking transactions and have appropriate professional qualifications, e.g Chartered Accountant, chartered banker or similar. You will a highly motivated individual with excellent communications skills with a passion for delivering excellent results within a Banking environment. A strong contact base with the key professionals within the North of Scotland professional community is required. You will have a proven track record of people management within a Banking environment and have a passion for shaping the strategic direction of a team and a organisation.
