| My client is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer with a Civil Engineering Degree, and experience within roads design, to work in their offices which means you can be based in Rosyth, Fife or central Edinburgh depending on what suits you. Ideally you will be a team player with knowledge of British Design codes. You should ideally be conversant with packages such as MX and Auto CAD and will have circa one year plus post graduate experience working on Civil projects in Infrastructure or Highways design. The role will include supervision and undertake roads design projects following these through to the implementation of minor improvement schemes including bridges. You will be involved with the preparation and checking design drawings carried out. This award winning organisation work with the public and private sector or civil development and maintenance and has a staff base of over 8,000 people. There is a strong emphasis on employee welfare and the company are looking to attract, retain and develop staff from graduation through to chartership.
