THE COMPANY
Our Client, a major multinational operating company in the North Sea oil industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide professional advice to Project personnel on all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities and to provide guidance on the satisfactory resolution of quality issues that arise during the course of the project. In addition to which you will be expected to liaise with the clients representative on matters pertaining to project quality initiatives. Irregular offshore visits will be necessary

JOB SPECIFICATION
Functional Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitor the Project BMS for legislative compliance and ensure it suits the business
Develop manage and execute project specific audit programmes.
Provide QA expertise for design and execution of the project work-scope.
Oversee the application of QA / QC activities at satellite office facilities and vendor manufacturing sites to achieve project objectives.
Assist the Project Management Team in defining QA / QC resource requirements.
Contribute towards identifying worksite QC personnel requirements.
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the Project Quality Plan.
Support Project Leadership Teams in implementing the Quality Management System.
Review, co-ordinate, monitor and supervise Quality Plans submitted to the project from suppliers.
Monitor compliance within Project on an ongoing basis.
Assist in the evaluation of potential suppliers and sub-contractors.
Contribute towards achieving audit programme objectives.
Manage the interface between project and the Independent Verification Body.
Liaise with the clients Quality Assurance personnel on project quality business.

Required Characteristics:
Degree / National Certificate, or equivalent preferred.
Formally certificated Lead Auditor.

Specific job requirements
A broad range of QA / QC knowledge in both corporate and project work.
Previous offshore industry experience in a related position
