ACCOUNT MANAGER, FREIGHT, 0802-342

Location: Glasgow
Salary: c£30K + Commission + Excellent Benefits
Reporting to: Area Sales Manager

Our client is the one of the Market Leading Freight companies in the UK and Europe. Employing over 700 staff in 19 locations, this organisation is one if the best companies to work for.

The Role

The role will be in a Field Sales capacity covering the Central Belt of Scotland.

The role entails achieving profit growth through management of new and existing business. Duties would include: prospecting new businesses, communicating with the telesales team, field sales and account management. Our client offers a generous commission structure with great incentives in place to achieve and over achieve targets.
This position will require you to develop your own portfolio of customers by generating your own leads, contacting businesses by telephone and attending your own sales appointments. Once the customer is on board you will be responsible for account managing all new business brought on, bonus will be paid on retention and new revenue.
