| THE ROLE Business Co-ordinator Location: Pollokshields Salary: circa £19,700 per annum Benefits Package: Annual performance related bonus, share save scheme, free parking and other attractive benefits Reporting to: Reporting to the Customer Services Manager The role holder will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing a team of Customer Service Advisors to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved and agreed service levels are met. The role holder will be highly motivated and have strong people management skills. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Relations Department of this well known financial service organisation. Reporting to the Customer Relations Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing a team of Customer Relations Advisors to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved and agreed service levels are met. You should be highly motivated and have strong people management skills. Responsibilities include: "Review and plan team workloads to ensure the continuous delivery of agreed service levels. "Recruit, train and develop Customer Service Advisors to ensure that the correct calibre of staff are in place as required and are appropriately trained to achieve service levels. "Review and assess individual and team performance on a regular basis to ensure objectives are achieved. "Motivate individuals and team to encourage ongoing achievement of results, good morale and low labour turnover. "Communicate and liase with team members, other departments and the management team to facilitate effective communication of relevant issues within the department and with other areas of the business. "Produce relevant and concise management information - e.g. Key Business Indicators. "Adhere to HR policies and procedures ensuring a fair and consistent approach to managing staff is adopted all times. Shift pattern: 35 Hours per week - flexible between Monday and Sunday, 5 days from 7 days between the hours of 9am and 9pm. THE COMPANY First People Solutions Group require an experienced Business Co-ordinator for our client, a leading retail consumer credit/finance organisation based in the southside of Glasgow. EXPERIENCE The right person for this role will have a minimum of 2 years in a customer service environment (preferably within a call centre) together with a minimum of 1 years people management experience. In addition you will have the ability to make accurate decisions and will have well-developed problem solving techniques. An excellent communicator with strong influencing skills, you should be able to work well with your team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative.
