| Our clients Glasgow facility houses state of the art machinery operated by a team of skilled machinists to create a diverse and bespoke product for a niche market. Currently our client has the requirement for a Production Planner with a proven background in a similar industry and environment with the following attributes: Must be comfortable and competent communicating the needs of operations to workforce. Must also be comfortable reporting to all management on progress. Focused, bright individual able to grasp the holistic overview of production plant requirements. Must be mature and domestically secure. Able to work extra hours without upsetting domestic or social situation. Able to commute reliably to factory base. Have the Ability to communicate and motivate via oral and written media. Understands the principles of a production line. Role: This role will encompass operational areas within our clients organization, including but not restricted to, staff, customers, products, equipment and premises Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities will include: Implementing and maintaining a new MRP software system Historical analysis of sales and purchases Planning of production schedule Monitoring and reporting of production efficiencies Planning and ordering of materials within budgets Monitoring and reporting of material issues Activity based costing (actual against forecast) Dealing with suppliers and customers Producing real-time reports for sales and production teams Implementing and maintaining a new MRP software system Stock control and management Send you current cv highlighting your skill set and qualifications to klangslow@primestaff.co.uk |
