Full Description:
My client is one of the worlds fastest growing design, engineering and management consultancies who have a requirement for an Associate Director in Rail for their Edinburgh office.

This is an opportunity to develop a team with the support of a Global Consultancy who have successfully tendered for a number of local projects. You will also have full support from the established team in England.

Requirements-

- Comfortable motivating a team, promoting career development and job satisfaction
- Financially awareness and ability to contribute effectively to business development and marketing
- Proven record of working on Rail projects and the ability to deliver them on programme and to budget
- Technical design knowledge within the rail industry

Role-

- Manage profit and loss of the team
- Liaise with other departments within the consultancy
- Act as a client manager communicating, presenting and managing positive relationships
- Plan business development and support the production of bids/ proposals
- Grow a team through strategic development
- Act as a project manager/ director on significant and/ or strategic rail projects
