| New Job: Geotechnical Engineer Job Location: Glasgow GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - GLASGOW - £28K - £35K + Free parking, pension, healthcare, flex benefits, fantastic office, 5 mins from underground. My client aims to produce high quality engineering design in concept, in detail and in execution, on time, to programme and delivering excellent value for money. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a geotechnical engineer to join there vibrant Glasgow office. You will have the following qualifications and experience: A degree in Civil Engineering or Geology Working towards being a Chartered Engineer (ICE) or Geologist Strong foundation, basement, earthworks and ground treatment (including mine workings) design skills An good understanding of ground investigation techniques and its importance to deriving appropriate design parameters Knowledge of contaminated land investigation and assessment would be of value The ability to plan and deliver projects whilst working in a team. or under minimal supervision is essential This position offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated team-player who want to develop their careers.
