| Senior Quantity Surveyor - Glasgow - £38 - 45k + Car All, Pens 5%, Healthcare, 23 Days (9 Stats) + Bonus (Variable 5-15%) Our client recognises that their greatest resource will always be the people they employ. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Glasgow based team. This will be a key appointment within the business with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. There are no barriers for progression within this company and there will be a real opportunity to achieve not only Associate but also Partner level over the next few years. Since formation in 1993, they have grown into a leading independent construction consultancy , delivering projects across Scotland from a wide variety of industry sectors including; Residential, Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Commercial . These commissions can range in value from £1m to £40m. The practice currently operates with 14 technical and 3 admin staff. Although structured below 3 Partners, the team operates with a flat hierarchy that while promoting independence, also enables them to share skills, knowledge and experience for major developments. Both their high level of repeat business and staff retention levels are firm evidence of the culture they have created. The successful applicant will come from a strong private practice background and be MRICS. You will have a broad range of project/sector experience and be confident in a client-facing role. As such, you will not only be a self starter in terms of projects but will have first class technical and communication skills. While you may be working within a similar sized business or much larger organisation, you will have the desire to work in a culture that gives you real and tangible influence. |
