STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - GLASGOW - £28K - £35K + parking, healthcare, pension, bonus. Office is Glasgow city centre and only a short walk to bus, train and underground station.

A new job awaits for a talented Structural Engineer in Glasgow with experience. This is an excellent job opportunity for an individual seeking to have control of their projects from conception to completion.

My client is an international consultancy offering integrated professional services for civil and structural engineering projects, transportation, environmental studies and institutional development.

Due to a growing business they are looking to recruit engineers with building structures experience to strengthen their team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of structures, including multi-storey residential, schools and commercial development. The company have only recently moved into a newly refurbished city centre office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a developing technical contributor to join there successful and rapidly growing technical team. The jobholder is likely to be continuing his/her professional development and have a reasonable level of competence in his/her own area whilst still acquiring higher-level skills. The role involves important client responsibilities including managing client expectations, documenting technical and project related material, identifying and resolving problems, and notifying management of any required changes. The jobholder may also lead small projects and coach and support other team members. The role is responsible for identifying opportunities to expand existing business, and the jobholder interfaces with client managers to build a broad and influential network, and uses multiple methods of communication to increase acceptance and support within clients.
