Full Description:
Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Instrument Technician

Purpose:
Provide technical support to Hire & Service Managers, using initiative to identify solutions to technical issues which may arise whilst carrying our repairs and recalibrations of customer and company equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
In house and onsite repair, maintenance and recalibration of customer and company owned electrical and instrument measuring equipment.
Scheduled re-calibrations of internally calibrated electrical and instrument measuring equipment.
Liaise with clients and suppliers as required in order to satisfactorily complete each job.
Carry out all works in accordance with defined work procedures and quality, health and safety requirements.
Assist colleagues in maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
Work together with colleagues to maintain an organised and efficient branch.
Perform any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Full driving licence required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Trade/ONC qualified.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
Essential:
Previous experience in a similar position.
PC Literate.
Desirable:
Experience of working the oil & gas industry.

Must have ability to provide an accurate and timely service and act in a professional manner.
