THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

We are recruiting for a Sybase developer for our financial services client based in Glasgow City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing the Sybase Database replication environment. This role will involve working in a fast paced, high pressure environment therefore candidates must comfortable working towards strict targets and deadlines and dealing with mission critical information.


Essential:

RDBMS / T-SQL (Sybase is preferred)
Unix/Linux/Shell Scripting
Data Integration Technology & Frameworks

Desirable:

Sybase Replication experience would be a distinct advantage
Java
Application servers, MQSeries, JMS
Java Frameworks (preferably Spring)
Java development tools
XML, XSLT
ClearCase
